Camp ToknowHim is an interdenominational Christian youth camp and retreat center located near Pisgah in the mountains of northeast Alabama. It has two separate facilities to accommodate groups of 60-300+. The property around the camp abounds with miles of wooded trails, amazing rock formations and the views of the Tennessee River.  The camp was started by a Northland couple in 2000. In 2001, Northland sent a team to work on the camp, and Northland teams have been going there every year since. We are currently working on the construction of a third facility. We make a trip each Spring and Fall, and have an enjoyable time of working and fellowship. We welcome everyone: singles, couples, young and old. There is no requirement to have construction experience, we can put everyone to work on a project. Each trip is usually about a week long, from Sunday to Sunday, but can also come for as many or as few of the days as you would like. There are nice accommodations for everyone and great meals. The cost for the trip is your transportation, driving yourself, or sharing the costs in a carpool. If you can contribute to the cost of meals, that would be appreciated. The drive from Central Florida to the camp in Pisgah, AL is about 9 to 10 hours. There are also flights with Allegiant from Sanford, FL to Chattanooga, TN, which is just over an hour from the camp. The camp website is camptoknowhim.com. If interested, please contact Bud Abt at budabt36@gmail.com or (407) 415-0036.
