Who we are: Word of Life is a community Bible study group made up of believers and seekers of all ages, with different faith backgrounds and perspectives. Our desire is to provide a safe and non-judgmental place where we can study the Bible together and enjoy meaningful fellowship. March meeting schedule:  March 13th and March 20th.  Meeting at a Lake Jesup Woods home on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 7 to 8:30pm. Inquires can call John @ 954-931-2609 Breaking Bread is an adult men’s group gathering in the Sanford/Lake Jesup area.  Join us in the kitchen, as we all pitch in together to prepare and eat a simple meal while creating habits to strengthen our walk with Christ.  The group is currently studying 'Victory in Spiritual Warfare' by Tony Evans.

This men's ministry will open your eyes, mind and heart as it reveals how Jesus Christ works in the daily life of the average man. We are disciples of Christ; not just hearers of the Word but also doers. Come hungry for the Word, and come hungry from work - we will feed both needs! Men of Honor participants share experiences of the everyday guy and the needs of the common man, his family and his friends. We are all struggling to survive the dangers of this ever-changing, ever-challenging, hi-tech world. However, together we can seek the "Kingdom of God" and witness His Mighty Hand at work right here on earth. Come and See what God has done and why we are called Men of Honor! Our group meets once a month in person on the 2nd Thursday of every month at Northland 7pm to 9pm and virtually on Zoom every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm.

DescriptionHave you ever wanted to study Scripture alongside a biblical scholar and learn how to trace the deep patterns and theology woven through the Bible? The book of Exodus stands at the heart of the biblical story of redemption, shaping how Scripture speaks about salvation, covenant, and God dwelling with his people. Acclaimed Old Testament scholar L. Michael Morales is teaching a six-week online cohort on the biblical theology of Exodus, offered through The Gospel Coalition’s Carson Center for Theological Renewal. Participants will gain tools for reading Exodus with greater depth, seeing how its literary design and theology illuminate the rest of Scripture. This is an opportunity for those seeking depth in their study of Scripture and willing to invest time, attention, and effort into learning alongside others.ScheduleOnline lectures run Fridays from March 6 through April 10. Our in-person discussion group meets Thursdays from March 5 through April 16 to reflect together, ask questions, and apply what we’re learning. Registration and cost  Participation requires registration for the online cohort. Through our group rate, the fee is approximately $200, which includes access to all six lectures and two books provided by the cohort. After joining this group, participants must contact the group leader to receive the group discount code and registration link. Registration with books closes February 27. Late registration without books closes March 5. If cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out to the group leader to discuss options.
