By now it is well known that Friday, June 24, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. How will the church respond?
To start, it can be helpful to look at the various ways we are already supporting women and families in crisis. We’d like to create a greater awareness around ministries inside of Northland, and partners in our community that offer support to families and individuals in various ways. We are thankful that these resources are meeting the needs of those inside and outside of our church family.
Through the coming months, we will be looking for opportunities for further partnership and chances to scale ministry to meet rising needs. And we look forward to the month of November when we will take time around each service to highlight some of these ministries and partners each week.
There is no single ministry that can tackle the rising challenges. It takes a coordinated effort to address these broken areas in our society. We hope you find this list to be encouraging and a helpful place to begin.
A portion of what we give to the Northland general fund goes to supporting ministries and partners like these each month. Please consider how you can pray and support these partners and ministries. As John 10:10 says “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” More information about our partners and ministries along with ways that you can get involved below.
