Prayer is the primary way humans communicate with God. We worship a God who hears our prayers and acts according to His plan and purposes. Through prayer, we have access to the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe who knows each of us by name. God also calls us to be a part of what He does in the lives of others as we bring their needs before Him in prayer.

That i be blessed with some luck on finding work - i am days from being homeless again - i had a job for 7 year as a toll collector - untill they decided to use computers instead of people - so not only me but everyone that is struggling - my heart hurts because i just came out of living in my car to going back to living in my car again - and the job searching and finding something that will last is so hard - and i feel like i chaseing my tail - because of computers - they say apply online and when i dont get a response yet again - it pretty discourageing - i try to visit northland as often as i can but most of the time work useually got in the way - and just staying a float with work was quit the struggle - this year been pretty tough - i lost my mom and couple other losses and then the government shut down thenbut if you could share your prayers for the needy before the end of the year that would truely be a miracle and so appriciated - i thank you for your time in reading this -T Y

I am 58 yo and retired in 2022. My mother came to live with me in 2020 after my father passed away. I want to relocate out of Florida desperately as I cannot find work. For the first time in my life, I am without healthcare coverage since October of this year. As hard as I try I can't seem to stay out of debt. I have prayed about my situation so many times, however, I feel at times I have been forgotten. I spend days at a time in my house without leaving and am burdened with worsening depression and anxiety. I am desperate to a fresh start.

I finally turned another year older last Tuesday 51 yrs old now. Another thing about myself is this I love to turn another year older always have and always will. The challenge is having to wait until December 9th every year for that to happen. I literally be awaiting very impatiently every year to turn my age for that year. I was born in 1974 now I'm finally am 51 same age as many of my peers born the same year. Most of the year it looks like I'm a whole year younger than people born the same year as me and I don't like that at all in fact I hate it with a passion. But I do enjoy the few weeks out of the entire year when I finally caught up age wise with those born the same year. Valerie Martinez my old friend and pen pal born February 23rd 1981 remains the only person ever to understand me on the late birthday issue. I remember Valerie saying to me twice on the phone years ago and on one letter don't it seem like it take forever for your birthday to come. I agree strongly .True Story

Please pray for my brother, Wayne, in Aiken, SC. He had a significant stroke a week ago and has lost the use of his right leg, plus his right arm is also having some problems. He is currently in a rehab center and getting physical and occupational therapy. Please pray that God will place His healing hands upon Wayne and provide him with the ability to control both legs and arms and for Wayne to continue to have the attitude, courage and strength to not only see God working in his life but also to work with God by doing what he physically needs to do to get better and not to give up hope.
