Mike Kemp grew up in the Orlando area and began attending Northland in 1993. He soon started volunteering with Northland’s youth ministry, and then joined the Northland staff, eventually becoming the College Ministry Director. He graduated from UCF with a Master’s in Business Administration in 1996 and began a career in the technology industry. His work as a management consultant and program manager included frequent travel, and after a career with IBM, he started a company of his own where today he provides consulting services for companies in Central Florida.
Mike met his wife Nikki at Northland in 2004, and they married in 2006. They reside in Winter Springs and have two children: Brooke (8) and Reed (5). The Kemp family enjoys traveling together as well as outdoor activities like swimming and biking.
Most recently, Mike and Nikki enjoyed participating in the Belong & Grow course where they were able to experience what God has to offer at Northland beyond the weekly worship service.
