Marcus' primary role is to oversee the visual elements of the church’s weekend worship services and video needs. He works closely with other members of the Communications and Worship teams to develop, plan and execute video projects. His passion for media in the church was ignited at 13 when his youth minister introduced him to video editing. Continuing to be heavily involved in his church, he earned a music business degree from Oklahoma City University in 2004. Before coming to Northland in 2007, Marcus worked in ministry doing video and audio production in Oklahoma. He enjoys woodworking, photography, and college football. He and his wife Katie have four children, Amber, Maggie, Janie, and Will. He strives to serve the congregation of Northland by using his God-given creativity to help build an environment where people can worship freely and be drawn to Christ.
