Jamila Millette is the Director of Youth Outreach and Community Engagement at Northland. She was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2004 for college. She has a heart for those in crisis, suffering from a variety of issues and mental disorders. She has mentored children, counseled adolescents and adults with a multitude of mental and spiritual issues. Currently, Jamila works in the schools and in the prison with youth incarcerated utilizing the performing arts. Jamila is a License Mental Health Counselor, holding a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Troy University and a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a minor in interpersonal communication from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Jamila enjoys poetry, dancing, karaoke and serving others.
