Gary Moss

Director of Facilities

Director of Facilities Gary Moss oversees the day-to-day maintenance of all of Northland's facilities and the site on Dog Track Road. Gary's primary responsibilities include negotiating for and managing all of the church's contracted services, providing facility assistance to the distributed sites and insuring that each ministry receives the appropriate maintenance support to operate effectively within their respective areas. A graduate of Florida State University, Gary spent 34 years in the public sector, starting his career in the retail business and working his way up to a department store manager for Jordan Marsh, then managing several malls in the Southeast as the regional vice president of operations for Simon Property Group, the largest shopping-center developer in the U.S. Recruited by Northland to assist during the construction and development of the new worship center, he brought a vast amount of experience in managing and maintaining large facilities to the church's operation. Gary and his wife, Carol, have lived in Winter Park, Florida, for more than 30 years and have attended Northland since 1994. Carol also works at Northland, as does their daughter, Sarah Mattingly. They also have two sons and four grandchildren. "It was the dynamic worship service, the wonderful music and the relevance of Dr. Hunter's messages that brought us to Northland," Gary says. "As one who works with the entire staff during the course of my normal duties and has a great deal of interaction with visitors to and congregants of the church, Northland provides a wonderful opportunity to help and serve others in an extremely fulfilling manner."
