Eleanor Tracey has been serving at Northland since 1993 as a worship team member, songwriter for adult worship and for children's ministries, and as a director of children's global curriculum. Eleanor is married to Tim and they have two adult children, Michael and Martha. Eleanor received her bachelor's degree in music from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her late 20s, it was God's Word that brought her into a relationship with Christ. Since then, it has been her passion to help children learn who God is and what He has done according to His Word. For 10 years, Eleanor delivered the children's message during Northland's Saturday evening services. There, God began training her to tap into the tremendous capacity children have for understanding the things of God. Eleanor helps write and distribute a global curriculum that takes children through the Bible stories from Genesis to Revelation. She works with a gifted, dedicated team of Northland's staff and volunteers, as well as with global partners who share this vision of equipping teachers and ministries throughout the world to teach God's Word to the next generation. Currently this free Bible curriculum is being translated into Arabic, Russian, and Spanish and has been used by ministries in many nations including the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, England, France, Germany, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Sri Lanka, China and others.
