Dr. Quinones is the Director of Artistic Development with Community Art Connection, a ministry within Northland dedicated to serving adults with disabilities in a creative fashion. After following her desire to reach students through the field of Art, she received both her B.A. (in Liberal Studies with a minor in Women's Studies) and an M.A. (in Art Education) from the University of Central Florida in 2005. Years later she decided to follow the calling on her heart to serve others and God led her to the field of Servant Leadership. Dr. Q. obtained her Doctorate in Education, Leadership and Management from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida in 2018 and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Quinones' has 13 years of experience in the public school education setting while also working as a formal assessment writer for both a local school district and also served on a testing assessment committee with The Florida Department of Education. She holds several FTCE certifications and has years of experience working in a variety of educational settings serving individuals with varying disabilities and age levels. It is evident now "how long God has been directing and leading my path to an amazing opportunity where I can serve such a wonderful group of individuals. His plan was always in motion but to see his plan, it required me to step out in faith and let go of the wheel." Dr. Q. and her husband, Marlon, are blessed with two energetic children, Maxximus Jayms and Milan; they have attended Northland since 2012.
