David oversees Northland's Communications and Media Design department. He moved to Orlando in 2011 to launch ESPN’s Sports Lab, based at Full Sail University, where he led and directed teams to develop new technologies, content, media and applications. He also managed teams of engineers at ESPN Innovation Lab, developing products to engage viewers and sports fans.
David was previously creative director at ESPN, based in Bristol, Connecticut. He led a team of designers and animators in creative development for properties including NFL, NASCAR, MLB, college football, college basketball, golf and tennis, and produced and directed live action shoots for opens, sponsors and marketing. David was also creative director for the re-branding of ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World.
David and his wife Lisa have three daughters, Jessica, Abby and Rachel, who are all actively involved at Northland.
