While every day is a great day to say thanks to our awesome pastors, did you know there is actually an official month set aside just for this purpose? October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and this year we would like to directly express our appreciation for those who lead us.
Every pastor is deserving of thanks and appreciation for all they do. Not only do they show God’s love to us and for us, but they also equip people of all ages to share God’s love with others. Our pastors and church leaders are entrusted with making decisions for the church, teaching and preaching the Word of God, caring for the needs of our congregation, and countless other tasks. It’s a big job, and they need our support.
We want to offer you the opportunity to publicly express your thanks. You can express your appreciation by mailing a card or letter to 522 Dog Track Road, Longwood FL, 32750, or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also tag us on social media @NorthlandChurch.
While October is designated as Pastor Appreciation month, don’t forget to appreciate your pastors throughout the entire year. Be sure to thank them once in a while for what they do, and pray for them regularly. Pray for their emotional well-being, their physical strength, their spiritual wellness, and any specific needs you know.
Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. —1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (NIV)
