Street Beat

by Kasey Carter

Hello faithful readers, cub reporter Kasey Carter coming at you with an exciting edition of StreetBeat. People are always asking, “Kasey Carter, what’s happening around King City?” The big story this summer was our first-ever virtual VBS, Scoutabout: Out of Service!

Scoutabout is a free, five-day online Vacation Bible School featuring our own Professor Von Himmel, who does everything out of service for the Lord! With the help of his grandson, Skyler and his faithful lab assistant, Helga, the nutty professor tries his best to get closer to Jesus. Using his special time machine he manages to bring several of the Lord’s disciples to his lab, each time getting a little closer to the truth of how to serve the Lord and others.

Scoutabout features fun and informative sketches, lively worship, crafts, game times, and even a daily service challenge! And the best part is you can do it in your own home with your brothers and sisters, your neighborhood friends, even your mom, and dad.Ask your parents to log on to to find all the videos!
