Children’s Ministries Activities for July 2020

Children’s Ministries Activities for July 2020

Although we are not meeting on campus at this time, we have plenty of opportunities for children accessible online.

Daily Devotions for our children are posted Monday through Friday. These devotions are based on the lesson the children will be learning on the Children’s online worship service on the weekend. They include scripture, a teaching moment, and sometimes even a song! These are designed for our grade school children, although I’m sure some of our younger children will enjoy them too.

For our Pre-K children, we have a Bible lesson with Miss Jessica and Delbert the Donkey on Tuesdays and Miss Jessica reads a storybook on Thursdays.

Check out the Children’s Worship Service posted at 5 pm on Saturdays.  Join us for a virtual Camp Venture adventure!  Worship with Ms. Marisol and the children’s worship team, view a Bible lesson, enjoy time with our friend Ranger Reggie and friends and a special creature feature moment, and of course sing along to our camp song.  If you would like to make a craft to help you remember what you learned, there is a link that takes you to a video of Ms. Debbie showing you a fun craft with simple supplies you might have at home.

To check out all these opportunities, go to the Northland Children and Families Facebook page or the Children’s page on the Northland website.

Scoutabout VBS on demand! Our Virtual ScoutAbout VBS is now available on demand! This 5-day adventure will be a fast-paced, light-hearted, humorous adventure that teaches us to do everything we do “Out Of Service” to the Lord.  Through their new friend Sklyer and the misadventures of his outrageous grandfather Professor von Himmel and the professor’s faithful assistant, Helga, children will hear from the Bible about the kindness Jesus showed to others.
