Access Ministries Online

Access Ministries at Northland strives to create a welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities and their families. With our campus doors being shut, they have shifted to creating a warm, welcoming place for all of our families and friends online!

Every day at 4 p.m., Access Ministries live streams “Fun for All” classes on their Facebook page. Each day is something different and they are open to everyone!

-Monday: Jam Session - Sing along at home as Ben Longstaff jams out to some of our favorite songs.

-Tuesday: Get Moving! - Stephanie will lead us through a great workout for any fitness level and no equipment needed. Get ready to get moving!

=Wednesday: Rhythms of Grace - You’ll hear familiar songs of praise and Biblical words of encouragement from people you know and love!

-Thursday: Let’s Groove! - Join Kaley and move to the beat for a dance-along to all our favorite songs. Get ready to move it, move it!

-Friday: Spring into Silly Stretching - Join Marty for some stretching, laughing, and strengthening. No equipment needed.

Access Ministries families have been so incredibly grateful for these classes to help maintain a sense of normalcy during this ever-changing time.

“The Fun For All classes have been such an important part of our ‘new normal’ daily routine. Exercise, sprinkled with some positivity, fun, and laughter, can turn a dismal day of lockdown, into energy and hope. We are tremendously grateful for these classes!”

- Brittany and Jan

“I like ‘Fun For All’ because it is amazing.  I like to learn about Jesus.  My favorite part is the Christian music. Thank you, Northland!”

Access Ministries’ Community Art Connection is continuing to engage their artists, social distancing style. They are meeting weekly via Zoom to continue to share, chat, and interact while they aren’t able to meet in person.

“During this stressful time, our son looks forward to the virtual classes as it eases the boredom, he is communicating with those he has built a relationship with and in his words "it's fun".  1 Thessalonians 2:8 speaks to the individuals that are offering this program: We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us. God Bless you all.”
