The Studios Children's Summer Musical "A Not So Terrible Parable" (Grades 1-6)
The Parable of the Good Samaritan, comes to life as a fun, whodunit mystery. Solving the mystery means discovering again just how far our Savior would go to rescue helpless sinners!

Students may participate in the choir along with being part of the acting cast. Singers' rehearsals will be Wednesday mornings from June 19-July 24 (except July 3) with dress rehearsals on Saturday, July 20 and 27 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Actors' rehearsals will be Saturday mornings from June 22-July 13 with dress rehearsals on Saturday, July 20 and 27 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Auditions for the acting parts will be held Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 am. The performance will be held Saturday, July 27 at 7:00 pm.

Open to students entering grades 1-6 in the fall.

The Studios Summer Dance Program (Gr 4-8)
Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 12, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Students will be learning some of the fundamentals of dance technique. It is the “how to” of leaps, turns, and transitional movement. We will also learn short combinations in various styles of dance like ballet, jazz, and modern. The program will conclude with a parent observation on the last day of class.

Open to students entering grades 4-8 in the fall. No dance experience required.

ROCK THE BOX: Rock Band Camp (Ages 10+)
At Northland, offered by The Music Box
Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Form a band, learn a song, create a logo, write a tune & hit the stage. This is a week-long band experience created to develop musicianship & performance skills for students wanting to play in a band. We will have openings in drums, guitar, bass, keys & vocals, and will work towards an end of the week showcase that will rock your summer.

Voices of Light Children’s Choir (Grades 1-6): Wednesday afternoons (3:30-4:30pm) during the school year, children will learn to harmonize, blend voices, and lead worship together.

The Studios Dance Troupe (Ages 7-18): Wednesday afternoons (4:30-6:00pm) during the school year, come to the foyer of the Children's Worship Wing at Northland Church in Longwood. Join us as we work on dance technique and learn choreography rooted in the contemporary style.

Private and Group Music Lessons: The Music Box at Northland offers private and group lessons in drums, guitar, piano and voice onWednesdays year-round. The Music Box provides information about registration, tuition, and scholarships.

Northland Signing Choir: This ensemble of high school students and adults volunteer to lead worship in the community through American Sign Language. Director: LJ Williams | Website: Signing Choir

Community Art Connection: On weekdays, adults with cognitive disabilities study visual arts, choir, dance, culinary arts, and self-defense. Nominal tuition. There is a performance at the conclusion of each semester.

Praise Time Puppeteers: Middle School students volunteer as puppeteers during weekly Praise Time worship in Early Childhood.

Children’s Church Worship Team: High school students and adults volunteer to serve together in leading Children’s Church worship each week.
