Mondays, June 3 through December 16, from 6:30 to 8 pm

A support Group for Individuals with a critical or terminal diagnosis or at a cross-road in their life--and for their families--to keep hope alive and to provide support through their journey.

This would include but not be limited to such diagnosis as CA, Heart Disease, Stroke, COPD, Dementia, Alzheimer’s etc. It would be open to families who have their loved one at home or in an ALF or Skilled Nursing.

A group like this would also be helpful to:

  1. Individuals or family members who neemotional and/or spiritual support
  2. Individuals or families with a recent life-altering, life-threatening or terminal diagnosis
  3. Individuals or families learning to deal with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. in their own life or a family member
  4. Adult children who have a mom or dad that can no longer safely live on their own but who are insistent on maintaining their current living arrangement
  5. Adult children who are spending a high percentage of their life as a caregiver for their parent(s)
  6. Spouses, whose husband or wife used to be the initiator and leader when it came to finances, home and care maintenance, etc., but who now have to assume that role because of a decline in their partner’s health or cognitive ability
  7. Seniors who have been living independently and are at a cross roads and need to consider their next step for housing
