23 You who fear the Lord, praise him!
All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!
Revere him, all you descendants of Israel!
3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness;
I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.
6 Praise be to the Lord,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
4 These things I remember
as I pour out my soul:
how I used to go to the house of God
under the protection of the Mighty One
with shouts of joy and praise
among the festive throng.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
1 Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
13 Be exalted in your strength, Lord;
we will sing and praise your might.
9 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
and put their trust in him.
3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the one Israel praises.

SUNDAY, JUNE 6 AT 2:30 P.M.
Baptism is an outward expression of our inward faith, a declaration to the world that we've chosen to follow Jesus Christ, a washing away of the old life, committing ourselves completely as followers of Jesus Christ. If you have never been baptized before this is your chance to take this step of obedience in Christ!
High School students are heading to Mobile, AL on Sunday, July 11 for a week of serving, worship, and spiritual growth.
PASSION FOR THE WORD
Join us as we come together as a church to pray for our lead Pastor as God prepares him for us and us for him.
“May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you” (Psalm 33:22 NIV).
If you reference the tithes & offerings chart, you’ll see the end of June marks the completion of Northland’s fiscal year. We have been blessed by your faithfulness throughout the year, especially as we weathered the enemy’s attack on our health and our culture during the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout this past year we have all been faced with a very real temptation to be overwhelmed...by the news, the pressure, the emotion, and the lack of our perceived control—we find our assurance in remembering God meets each of us where we are, every day.
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust’” (Psalm 91:1-2 NIV).
As we trust in the Lord, we find shelter beneath His wings. The responsibility to be salt and light to the world remains our calling as the world searches for answers...answers that are found in the saving grace of Jesus.
“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:37-39 NIV).
Do others see Jesus in us? With Jesus as our Shepherd and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, why is it sometimes challenging to convey His love to those who may not agree with us? Even in troubled times, we are nevertheless called to be His witnesses, His ambassadors, His hands and feet.
Our challenge to you this week is to thoughtfully and intentionally engage in a minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, daily effort to fix your eyes on Jesus. Silence the static of the enemy and tune your heart song to His voice.
