The Prophet Jeremiah (Oct 13-15)

Northland Children

We worship the God who is faithful. That means He keeps all His promises. God has a plan for your life! He promises to guide you if you seek Him with all your heart, soul, and mind.

When you sit at home: Age 3-Kindergarten read Jeremiah 1:4-9. God chose Jeremiah to speak His words. How did Jeremiah answer Him? Even though Jeremiah was afraid, he trusted God to give him the words to say.

Grades 1-3 read Jeremiah 1:4-9; 13:3-11; 29:11-13 and Grades 4-5 read Jeremiah 18:1-12; 19:10-11a; 29:11-13. God gave Jeremiah a message for the people. What did God want the people to do? What does God want us to do?

When you walk along the road: God has made each of us for an important purpose. Even when we don’t understand His plan for our lives, we can trust Him to always be with us.

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for making me with a purpose. Help me to remember our hope is in You. Amen.”

When you get up: Choose one of your favorite promises from God and decide on a way you can share that promise with someone who can be encouraged by it.

Age 3-K Bible Memory Verse
“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.” Psalm 145:13b

Grades 1-5 Bible Memory Verse
"He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
Philippians 2:8b-11a
