Marriage Group Serves LifeHope Childcare Moms

The Keeping the Spark Alive marriage class held a special Mother’s Day brunch for the ladies of LifeHope Childcare, a program for single moms. The day included a scrumptious meal, a comedian, personal testimonies and more.

From the class, the husbands prepared the meal for the LifeHope moms, while the wives decorated with festive colors to make for a delightful event as well as presented the ladies with Mother’s Day gifts. Radio and comedic personality Vince Taylor Jr., from the show “Monsters in the Morning,” provided comic relief.

This marriage class is led by Elder and Pastor Vince Taylor Sr. and his wife, Charlene, who encourage couples to honor marriage. The class demonstrated that marriages, just as all other facets of ministry, grow best when the focus is on service to others.

Going forward, the group will be looking for opportunities to show the love of Christ. After all, Mark 9:35 says, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all” (NASB).

The class meets every Sunday from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in room 4206. Join us anytime, and watch your marriage flourish. Contact the Taylors at keepingthesparkalive@gmail.com.

Pastor Taylor, known as “The Married Man,” is the founder and president of Majestic Marriage and Family Ministries, which includes Married Man Ministry and a radio broadcast that reaches over 5 million nationwide weekly. He and his wife have been married for 37 years and have four grown children, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, two grandchildren and two godsons.
