Jesus’ First Miracle (Jan 5-7)

Northland Children

We worship Jesus as the God of Wonders. The Bible says Jesus did wonders (or miracles) to reveal His glory and so people would put their faith in Him.

When you sit at home: Ages 3-5 read John 2:1-11. Grades 1-5 read John 2:3-11. What is a miracle? (A miracle is an amazing surprise from God that can only be performed by Him.) What happened when Jesus turned the water to wine?

When you walk along the road: What would you say to Jesus if you saw Him do a miracle? Digging Deeper: Sometimes we ask God for a miracle, but it doesn’t happen. Does that mean God is not powerful enough to answer your prayer? (No, it means God has chosen a different plan at that time in your life.)

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord for Your miracles. Fill us with Your Spirit, so we may put our faith in You. Amen.”

When you get up: Write your Unit Bible Memory Verse on a piece of paper, decorate it if you like, and hang it where your family can learn it together. Listen to the Bible Memory Verse Song below or in the Northland Children app. Create a game to help you remember your verse.

Age 3-K Bible Memory Verse

Grades 1-5 Bible Memory Verse
