Handwriting the Bible - start today with Psalm 1
Today is the first day of our project to write out the Psalms by hand. (The full setup / explanation about this is here.)
Here's Psalm 1:
Remember - we're writing at a pace of one chapter a day, every day. If you want to join in a day or two late, that's great! The first chapter is short, so you can probably combine chapters into a single day, or just catch up.

I am writing the Bible out and came across your info on this. I am interested to know if you are finished or still working thru the Bible? The last entry was 2011 which is the reason for my question. Bless you and family. Miriam
how long does it take 2 write the bible out?
I can’t tell you how much I am embracing this handwriting the Bible. In fact, I am doing two copies, one for each of my Granddaughters, Grace and Faith. And, true to Our God’s personal touch, January 2, writing Psalm 2 in the Message translation God said, “You’re My son, and today is your birthday” and that very day, January 2, was my daughter’s 37th birthday. Isn’t our God sweet? To be able to read the Living Word, ingest the powerful Truth and write the strokes of His Love on the page of my day is true blessing. Happily writing in Texas…
I know it is only day three but I am enjoying this so much and feel I am getting so much more out the Words.
This is such a great idea! I’m doing it!
