Emily Tallman serves as Northland’s Resource Point implementation coordinator. Resource Point is an online tool connecting needy people to various resources in the area. Emily previously worked as office manager for a physician’s office and administrative assistant for her husband Brent’s mortgage business. She also served as a volunteer administrator for LifeHope, Northland’s benevolence ministry. Volunteering with LifeHope taught Emily important processes that come into play serving the needy through Resource Point, while her medical background helped her understand important security and privacy practices. Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, she holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management. Emily and Brent have been married since 1992 and have four children. On working at Northland, Emily says is it “a blessing to see the gifts and talents of each person here.”
