Part of being a church distributed is making connections and building relationships for greater Kingdom impact. Our partners give us a better view of the needs within the local area, providing Northland’s staff and congregation with opportunities to share God’s love with others in tangible and practical ways.
Shepherd’s Hope
Shepherd's Hope is a faith-based organization of volunteers that exists to provide access to health care for the uninsured. They operate 10 health centers that are located in donated facilities at schools, places of worship, and other community agencies. The facilities are open in the evenings to accommodate working families. Different faith communities sponsor each health center, serving as the primary resources for volunteer doctors, nurses and general office workers who staff the clinic each night.

Harvest Time International
Harvest Time International, a non profit charitable organization that provides relief to disaster, hunger and refugee victims in Central Florida and around the world. Since 1991, we have assisted low income and financially distressed families by helping them to meet their basic needs.
Some of the things that Harvest-Time does locally: Operates the Community Hope Center (CHC). The CHC is a self-sufficiency program to support low income and financially distressed families through supplying food, a variety of household goods and hygiene products. The CAP is a self-funding community service, which allows the recipient to participate in their own solution by giving a donation toward the cost of operations.

Christian HELP
Christian HELP’s mission is to prevent homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs
while providing for them materially and spiritually. They founded the Central Florida Employment Council in 1994 and today over 800 employers belong to this organization. Christian HELP also produces the President's, Governor's, Mayor of Orange County's and Mayor of Orlando's Job Fairs. In addition to employment help, they house a large Food Distribution Center and offer families a wide variety of resources to meet their needs.

The Sharing Center
The Sharing Center works to prevent homelessness in Seminole County by assisting low-income families with basic and necessary needs during financial emergencies caused by job loss and health problems. Assistance for families is given according to individual need and The Sharing Center resources. Help may include food, toiletries, clothing, Financial aid with rent/mortgage, utilities, transportation costs, medical prescriptions, and other help specific to an individual. The Sharing Center networks with other help agencies and organizations and may refer a client for specialized assistance.

Frontline Outreach
Frontline Outreach, Orlando’s oldest outreach to urban children. In the heart of Orlando’s west side and surrounded by over 1,000 housing units, Frontline Outreach is on the cutting edge of urban early-childhood education and leadership development for urban youth. They offer educational and leadership programs for youth and families in urban Orlando. Their vision is to prepare young people to become world-class leaders through early childhood and character-development programs. Jobs Partnership is the partnership of churches, businesses, and community organizations that uses Biblical principles to help people maximize their calling at work. Their passion is to revive the American work ethic by reconnecting the church to the public square. They provide the framework for local churches to engage in transforming the world one community at a time by equipping individuals to work and support themselves and their families. The Jobs Partnership applies an innovative approach to workforce development that provides a lasting solution to the challenges of insecurity, low self-esteem, and inconsistent work ethic in today’s workplace. The success of this unique Affinity Model of Shared Benefits’ comes by training people and building strategic relationships. They train people on work-relevant biblical principles that result in much more than just exposure to strategies for success. Their clients experience changes of heart that improve both their performance and their attitudes towards work. In short, they learn to put the American work ethic into practice. Nathaniel’s Hope
Nathaniel's Hope is dedicated to sharing hope with kids with special needs (VIP kids) and their families. They do this by bringing hope and resources of encouragement to VIP kids and their families; providing practical assistance by offering free respite care for VIP kids; Educating the community on how to be a Buddy to VIP kids and their families; Equipping the community, especially churches, with opportunities, tools, training, and resources to reach out to VIP kids and their families; extending hope to VIP kids overseas; and sharing hope with grieving families.

Pathways to Care
Pathways to Care is a 40-bed, not-for-profit respite center dedicated to providing health, housing and hope to Central Florida’s most vulnerable homeless. They provide short-term recuperative care and support services for homeless adults in need of temporary housing in order to recover from an acute medical illness or injury. Pathways to Care’s overall goal is to support their residents to achieve greater health, self-sufficiency and housing stability.

Rescue Outreach Mission
The Mission provides emergency shelter, food, clothing, and spiritual guidance to disadvantaged, needy, homeless, and abused individuals and families of any race, national origin, sex or age. Hospice of the Comforter
Hospice of the Comforter is the only non-profit, community-based hospice serving incurably ill patients in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties since 1990. They provide a special kind of care that supports people with an incurable illness and their families. Hospice care enables patients to carry on alert, pain-free lives and to manage other symptoms so that their days may be spent with dignity and quality, at home or in a home-like setting. Healthcare Center for the Homeless
The mission of Heath Care Center for the Homeless is to provide quality health care services that improve the lives of the homeless and medically indigent people in our community.
They have been providing quality health care services to Central Florida's homeless and indigent men, women and children for over a decade. This award-winning non-profit organization has been heralded for making the community a healthier place and for helping the homeless back to self-sufficiency. After all, you can't work if you're ill; you can't fill out an application if you can't see to read it; and in Central Florida's hospitality industry, a healthy smile is a requisite for work.
The Orange Blossom Family Health Center was opened by HCCH in January of 2006 to further their mission to offer a systemic solution to move people out of homelessness and into self-sufficiency as well as offering a safety net to the financially precarious keeping them from falling into homelessness due to the expenses of a catastrophic illness or loss of income due to illness.
The services at HCCH are provided in a multi-disciplinary approach combining aggressive street outreach with integrated systems of primary health care, dental, vision, behavioral health, education and patient advocacy.

Orange County Jail Ministry
Orange County Jail Ministry is a faith based ministry located at the Orange County Correctional Facility in Orlando, Florida. Their ministry consists of Chaplains and hundreds of volunteers that share the word of God and provide encouragement to the over 4800 men and women that are residents here at the jail. They service the Women's Facility which services all of the women residing at the facility (population of about 580), the Main Facility (population of about 1300), the BRC (Booking and Release center with a population of about 650), and the Whitcomb Building (population of about 300). This comprises a group of many people of different security levels from many different parts of the community. They work with those in solitary confinement, medium security people in secure housing blocks to those in dorm style units such as one our of faith-based units in the main facility. Orange County Jail Ministry provides church services, Bible studies, individual counseling, Bible study courses, drug and alcohol counseling, recovery programs and a reentry program for those returning to society.

Good News Jail and Prison Ministry
The mission of Good News Jail and Prison Ministry is to provide spiritually mature, equipped, and motivated Christian chaplains to serve in correctional facilities nationally and internationally. Their purpose is to meet the spiritual needs of both inmates and staff through ministry that includes evangelism, discipleship, and pastoral attention, while facilitating other religious faiths within the guidelines established by law and the individual correctional facility.

HOPE Foundation for the Homeless
HOPE Foundation’s mission is to reduce and end the tragedy of homelessness among families throughout all of Central Florida. They strive to address the problems of the working poor and homeless in a comprehensive, coordinated, and strategic fashion and to educate and change the way people think about the poor and homelessness in a way that compels them to action. HOPE is currently working on initiatives to make accessible basic shelter, access to food, life skills training, apprenticeships & job placement and other basic needs to families in crisis.
Currently the HOPE Foundations greatest need is for volunteer drivers to deliver food to those in need of assistance but are without transportation to the food pantry. Volunteer drivers can arrange their delivery times, days and locations to meet their schedules. If you are able to assist with this or other types of service at the HOPE Foundation food pantry please contact the food pantry coordinator.

These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency. Ultimately, Young Life leaders desire to give every kid the opportunity to hear about who Jesus Christ is and to begin a relationship with Him.
In Young Life, we give kids the first word. We go into their lives with open ears and listen. We know that kids don’t care what we know till they know how much we care. In Young Life, we call that earning the right to be heard.
It’s not hard to pick up what kids are saying. They want to be respected and feel safe. They want to live life abundantly — and that means having massive doses of fun, but it also means discovering who they are and what they were made for. So, in Young Life we invite kids into respectful relationships and into more fun and adventure (at club and camp, for example) than they can imagine.
Young Life is thriving in Seminole County and East Orlando with hundreds of kids gathering every week to have tons of fun, develop life long relationships and hear the good news about what Jesus has done for us.
