Local Serving Projects provide the opportunity to choose from a variety of ways to
demonstrate the love of Christ by serving others throughout Central Florida.
Each of the links below will bring you to a registration page for that serving ministry.
You can browse the type of project and simply choose the date you would like to serve on.
Goldsboro - Ongoing Project
District 2 Westside Initiative - Join in the initiative of revitalizing a City.
Efforts are currently on West 13th Street. Everything from businesses renovations and landscaping
to preparing for job training sites. This is a long-term strategy for growth &
revitalization.
Helping Hands
Serving projects, offered from all distributed sites & locations. Whether it's a house
renovation for the elderly/disabled or a landscaping project for someone in need, we are sent to
serve in the community. Unskilled please join, there will always be a Team Leader to help guide
you.
Local Ministry Partners & Family Serving Opportunities
Many of our local ministry partners provide opportunities for the congregation to join with
them in service opportunities. All projects are led by the local ministry partner; registration is
required and project dates are coordinated through Northland.
Disaster Response
The Disaster Response teams consist of congregation members who may or may not have
experience within the Emergency Management field. Teams currently are trained for Community Points
of Distribution (CPODS), Shelter Mangers, Volunteer Reception Center and the Specialty teams
(debris removal, chain saw, etc).
Training & Equipping
Projects require team leaders, basic skills, team building activities and fellowship
opportunities. Trainings are open to all and provide an opportunity to learn a new skill, meet
other volunteers and prepare for local serving projects. View up and coming trainings here.
