Hurts From Many Days

As Director of Public Relations, Robert Andrescik oversees the church’s print projects—including Northland News—and serves as liaison to local and international media outlets. Previously, Rob was magazine manager for Strang Communications, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of several publications with more than a million total readers. He is the former editor of New Man magazine, and served for three years on Billy Graham’s Decision magazine as an associate editor and as editor of the magazine’s news section. Rob got his start as an associate editor of the Minnesota Christian Chronicle, located in his hometown of Minneapolis, where he attended North Central University and earned degrees in journalism and broadcasting, with a minor in Bible. Rob sees his role with the media as a salt-and-light opportunity. “When reasonable Christians and Christian leaders are featured in the media, God is glorified, and His truth is proclaimed,” he says. Rob and his wife, Kimberly, are the parents of twins, Noah and Sarah, born in August 2005. They live in Winter Springs and have attended Northland since relocating to Florida in 1999, having been struck by the church’s commitment to Central Florida’s Christian community, including lending resources and talent to other local churches.
