Hurts From Many Days

Minister Bill Chapman currently serves at Northland’s Mount Dora worship site. Bill was called to serve “the Mount Adorables” in late 2005. His role at the distributed site includes leadership development, teaching and equipping, mentoring, and pastoral care. Bill builds teams to minister both in the church and out in the Lake County community. He holds a master’s degree in Divinity from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Florida. His wife, Sheryl, also has earned a degree from the seminary, and serves as a counselor for Northland’s counseling group, Discovery. Their three children are actively involved in Northland’s children’s ministry. A former mortgage broker, Bill was initially drawn to Northland in 1995, soon after giving his life to Christ. He says he was “excited to find a church environment where God was approachable, accessible and near.” Through his seminary training, he formed the goal that God’s church would be unified in heart and purpose to reach the world for Christ both locally and globally.
