Engaged, not engaged but seriously considering engagement, or married without the benefit of premarital counseling? This is the course for you!
Class topics range from the foundational to the practical aspects of marriage. During the course, we explore why marriages fail and look at God's design, plan, purposes and power for the marriage covenant. We will help confirm the direction of your relationship and discuss individual roles and responsibilities. We have sessions devoted to communication, conflict resolution, finances, keeping love alive, relating to in-laws and blending families.
One of the more significant features of this course is the relationships couples develop with mentoring couples and other participants. We have a wonderful group of mentors with many years of marriage and experience in mentoring others. We also employ various assessment tools that help couples understand themselves and each other.
Cost: $120 per couple.
BOTH individuals are required to register for the course online, here.
Questions can be addressed to Chris Kingsley at 407-937-1791.
(NOTE: There is NO CLASS on EASTER)

Details: Join us for worship Longwood, Oviedo, Mount Dora, or online. Each week's service is unique and themed around an attribute of God's nature (i.e. His mercy, goodness, grace, etc.). The preaching is biblical, applicable and winsome. And the music is a mix of contemporary worship and beloved hymns — blending the foundational and the modern. It's what Robert Webber called "ancient future" worship, "the common tradition of the church's worship in Word, Table, and song, practiced faithfully and communicated clearly in every context of the world." Woven together are the historical creeds of the faith and time-honored practices of the church, with new, innovative tools and modern expressions of worship. Join the gathering!

Details: Learn more about this family Distributed Journey to the Dominican Republic! (TRIP INFO)
On the trip, you and your family will join with New Missions and other teams to present Vacation Bible School (VBS) curriculum to underprivileged children throughout Sosua. In spite of their economic and social hardships, you will find the children eager to laugh, play and learn. As you shower them with attention and God's love, you'll be transforming their mindset from that of a victim of circumstance to that of a victor in Christ.
An ability to speak Spanish is a plus on this trip, but an open pair of arms and a loving, generous heart are the ONLY requirements. Children as young as 5 years old can participate in this mission trip!
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Details: High school students — come out and learn how YOU can be part of an awesome mission team! Bring a friend, bring your parents or bring 'em both!
Participants in this Distributed Journey will continue God's work by building a chapel, conducting VBS and hosting other children's programs. A great first-time journey, this trip will also include cultural exposure, worship in a local church, and the opportunity to share personal testimonies. Students will be challenged as they witness the vast material poverty in the DR while, at the same time, experiencing the kindness of the nationals and our host ministry.
