Understanding Community Resources Jan 21

Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Details: For prospective case managers to understand the resources throughout the community. Primary community providers will supply handouts and materials on their organizations and describe the eligibility requirements for their organization.

Idyllwilde Pantry Work Day

Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Details:

Be a part of helping to feed homeless and less fortunate kids at Idyllwillde Elementary School in Sanford. You helped raise the money for this pantry on campus, now help assemble shelves, paint and do some minor landscaping around the building! The group will meet at Idyllwilde Elementary at 9 am and will work until about 2 pm. All tools are provided and group leaders will be on site. Children must be AT LEAST 8-9 YEARS OLD to serve in this project and all children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. Please be sure to register each person in your group separately.

Middle School ‘Evolve’

Time: 11:00am - 12:15pm
Details: Evolve is a gathering of middle school students during the 11 a.m. service Sunday mornings at Northland @ Oviedo (Hagerty High School). Together we study God's word and see how it applies to everyday life.

New Volunteer Training

Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Details: Children's Ministries Teacher Training Saturday, January 21 3:00-4:30PM Room 5106-7 Help teach this next generation who God is and what He has done by joining the Children's Ministries team. We have been opening every classroom available to accommodate the growing number of children, but need more teachers and helpers. All the materials are provided and no experience is needed. Worship God - 5:00pm

Time: 5:00pm - 6:15pm
Details: Join us for worship at Longwood or online. Each week's service is unique and themed around an attribute of God's nature (i.e. His mercy, goodness, grace, etc.). The preaching is biblical, applicable and winsome. And the music is a mix of contemporary worship and beloved hymns — blending the foundational and the modern. It's what Robert Webber called "ancient future" worship, "the common tradition of the church's worship in Word, Table, and song, practiced faithfully and communicated clearly in every context of the world." Woven together are the historical creeds of the faith and time-honored practices of the church, with new, innovative tools and modern expressions of worship. Join the gathering!
