Last weekend, hundreds of us took steps forward in our spiritual journeys, in response to Pastor Joel's invitation to return to our "First Love." These kinds of decisions are made just about every day at Northland—in prayer rooms, in counseling offices, in classrooms, even online! It's not every day, though, that we witness God moving on so many hearts in such a dramatic way. The vows that Dr. Hunter led us in are written here for you.
“I __________________ take Thee, Lord, to be my first love, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish so that death never parts, and thereto I pledge Thee my faith.”
“I Bob Bender take Thee, Lord, to be my first love, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish so that death never parts, and thereto I pledge Thee my faith.”
I am proud to say that I was one of the hundreds and I couldn’t be more thrilled to know that my Savior is my husband and the most important thing in my life. Praise the Lord!
