We’ve made a couple of technically small changes to our website that should offer big improvements.
This year we have 300 people going on one of our 30 trips. In previous years the only real way to support someone going on a Distributed Journey was to write a check to Northland and drop it off onsite, or mail it in. But every year we’ve had growing demand for an easy way to make online gifts. So we’ve created a link for everyone going on a distributed journey this year for personal support raising that look like http://donate.northalndchurch.net/firstname-lastname
That said if you wanted to support Aaron Martin who is going to Brazil on the soccer trip this year, you would click to http://donate.northlandchurch.net/aaron-martin to send him support for his trip. Hopefully this will both make it easier for people who want to financially vest in our trip-goers and make it easier for people to raise the support they need for a trip. (Want to take a trip? We still have trips with spots open. Apply today!)
We’ve also made an improvement on the way we share Scripture. During online worship we’ve added a link on the right column to the Scriptures that pastor Joel refers to in the message. That means that in the service you can just click “this week’s Scriptures” and a link will pop up with the passages of the Bible that are referenced in the message.
